Bali Quarantine Hotels – Foreign tourists who fly directly to Bali must take part in a warm up vacation program. Warm up vacation is an innovation that is specifically designed for tourists or PPLN who have just come to Bali so that they can undergo quarantine in a hotel with a bubble system.
With this bubble system, it is possible for a person to have activities that are not limited to just the room, but can carry out various activities in the bubble area specially prepared by the hotel manager.

The Deputy for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Nia Niscaya, explained that the Bali warm up vacation package is different from the quarantine package. One of the differences is that PPLN can continue to enjoy facilities in Bali Hotel Quarantine areas that apply a bubble system or not quarantine in the room.
So that the hotel services provided by PPLN are not limited to rooms only, but more freely allow PPLN to do activities in hotel facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, dining rooms, so they can enjoy the beautiful beaches in the bubble area in Bali.
“So this is different from quarantine, which is only in the room. This warm up vacation program is carried out in hotels that have implemented a bubble system that is ready with health protocols in a disciplined manner,” said Nia.
Currently, the total Bali quarantine hotels recommended by the COVID-19 task force as of February 2, 2022 are 66 hotels. Five of them have been allowed to apply the bubble system. Meanwhile, 61 other hotels are still implementing the usual quarantine system.
The number of hotels that facilitate this warm up vacation program will continue to grow, while there are 19 other hotels that have proposed to become bubble system hotels, and their readiness still needs to be verified.
Meanwhile, the Deputy for Strategic Policy at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Kurleni Ukar, said that currently in Bali there are 5 bubble system quarantine hotels used for the warm up vacation program, namely Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua (Nusa Dua), Westin Resort (Nusa Dua), Griya Santrian. (Sanur), Viceroy (Ubud), and Royal Tulip (Jimbaran).
“In the future, the number of quarantine hotels with this bubble system will continue to be added according to the needs and results of field verification. This is so that PPLN can have a variety of choices according to their tastes,” said Nike.
Furthermore, Kurleni emphasized that there are options for PPLN visiting Bali regarding the self-quarantine package, namely the usual quarantine system as implemented in Jakarta and other areas that are not in bubble areas.
“In quarantine hotels that do not implement a bubble system, PPLNs are only allowed to move in their rooms or villas, they are not allowed to go out. But uniquely, in Bali there is a choice of quarantine hotels that offer villas with private swimming pools, so PPLNs can feel a more pleasant atmosphere. compared to quarantines in other areas. Currently, there are 61 regular quarantine hotels, with more than 3400 rooms,” said Kurleni.
Head of the Tourism Marketing Division (Kabid) of the Bali Tourism Office, Ida Ayu Indah, said that there were five bubble hotels for quarantine for foreign tourists on the Island of the Gods. The rate is around Rp. 12 million.
In Nusa Dua, there are two hotels prepared, namely the Nusa Dua Grant Hyatt Nusa Dua Westin Resort. In the Jimbaran area there is the Royal Tulip Hotel. In Sanur, Denpasar, Hotel Griya Santrian and in Ubud, Gianyar Regency, is Hotel Viceroy.
