This is because there are activities for people of all ages. Danga Bay has shopping malls, high-end restaurants, 5-star hotels, amusement rides, and beautiful views of the sea.
- Jalan Tan Hiok Nee
Jalan Tan Hiok Nee is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Johor Bahru. It is named after one of the people who helped start the city. There is also a lot of beautiful architecture here, including traditional Chinese shophouses and colonial buildings. Along Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, you’ll find a lot of cafes and restaurants that serve good food, as well as a lot of antique shops.
- The Istana Besar
Istana Besar is the Royal Palace. In the past, the Sultans of Johor would have lived there. This impressive building was built in 1866, when Sultan Abu Bakar was in power. It is a beautiful mix of Malay and Western styles.

Adventure Water Park Desaru Coast is a swimming ride that is famous for its Tidal Wave Beach, a giant wave pool that resembles a “beach.” This wave pool is only for visitors who are at least 122 cm tall. Kids Ahoy is a play area with 13 slides and shallow water where younger kids can have fun.
You can also go on Kraken’s Revenge, which is a ride that combines a roller coaster and a waterslide. You can also go down high slides like “The Tempest” and “Super Twister,” which are both fun but hard. - Johor Zoo
