Virgin Beach In Bali Island, The Clean Beach

In Bali, Indonesia, some people may have been come to Kuta, Nusa Dua, and many other which is the most famous beaches in Bali.

However, do you know that there are a lot of beautiful beaches besides the common beach in Bali? They are as beautiful as the common beaches in Bali.

One of them is Virgin Beach in Karangasem, Bali. This beach is well known as a ‘Mystery Beach’ because of some reasons.

First is because this beach is located in Perasi village between two hills which are Apen and Penggiang.

Second is the color of its sand has has its own mystery that no one knows. However, the name “Virgin Beach” is the given name by the tourists.

This beach was originally called White Sand Beach or Pantai Pasir Putih. This name comes from the sand itself which has white color in some area but the other beach in Perasi has black sand.

The third is because the discovery of this beach itself because of coincidence. 

To go to this Virgin Beach, there are many ways that you can choose. You can go by yourself, or you can go using some travel agency to go there.

Once you arrive in Perasi village, there are many public transport called “Bemo” that you can use to go near the beach. You can also rent a cheap motorcycle for Rp. 70.000 a day and Rp. 350.000 is the price for renting a car. 

The trip will cost you around 4 hours from Denpasar to Karangasem. The driver and gas are included, that’s is very cheap right? Because in this beach, you will have to pay for Rp. 5000 only! And you can enjoy the beauty of this Virgin Beach for only Rp. 5000.

The distance from the main road to the beach is around 1KM. Once you arrive at the parking lot, you will have to go by foot to the beach for around 400M.

In the beach, you can enjoy some of facilities that is served by the local people. Such as Umbrella, small cafe, snorkelling, and more. For snorkelling, you have to pay Rp. 25.000, for renting lounge chair and umbrella, you have to pay Rp. 15.000. You can also enjoy massage for Rp. 50.000. The price that you have to pay in this beach is very cheap compared to famoust beach like Kuta and Nusa Dua.
