This Lebaran 2025 toll road discount for the homecoming period will be available starting today, Monday, March 24, 2025. It’s a great opportunity to save on your journey!
Lisye Octaviana, Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head of Jasa Marga, stated that this toll tariff discount isn’t limited to the Trans Java region. It also extends to toll roads within the Trans Sumatera area.

“The tariff reduction for Trans Sumatra includes the Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa (Balmera) Toll Road and the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) Toll Road,” Lisye explained in her press release on Monday, March 24, 2025. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on travelers during the festive season.
Discount on Trans Sumatera Tolls
The 20 percent toll tariff discount will be valid for eight days, split into two periods. The first four days cover the *mudik* (homecoming) flow, starting from March 24, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB until March 28, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB. This is designed to coincide with the peak travel period.
This discount applies to road users traveling from Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan Toll Gate (GT) towards Sinaksak GT, or from Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT towards Kisaran GT. Make sure you plan your trip accordingly to take advantage of the savings.
The subsequent four days cover the return flow, starting from April 3, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB until April 5, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB, and again from April 8, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB until April 10, 2025, at 07:00 AM WIB. This is for travelers heading from Sinaksak GT towards Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT, or from Kisaran GT towards Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT.

During the *mudik* period, from March 24, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to March 28, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB, the discount applies to continuous journeys from Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT towards Sinaksak GT.
During the return flow, valid from April 3, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to April 5, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB and April 8, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to April 10, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB, the discount applies to continuous journeys from Sinaksak GT towards Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT, with the following rates:
- Vehicle Category I: Originally Rp 193,500, now Rp 170,900, a tariff reduction of Rp 22,600.
- Vehicle Categories II and III: Originally Rp 292,000, now Rp 257,800, a tariff reduction of Rp 34,200.
- Vehicle Categories IV and V: Originally Rp 391,500, now Rp 345,600, a tariff reduction of Rp 45,900.
The 20 percent toll tariff discount for Trans Sumatra, which applies to both Jasa Marga Group (Belmera and Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi) and Non-Jasa Marga Group (Indrapura-Kisaran) toll roads during the *mudik* period from March 24, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to March 28, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB, is valid for continuous journeys from Tanjungpura/Pangkalan Brandan GT towards Kisaran GT.

During the return flow, effective from April 3, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to April 5, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB and April 8, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB to April 10, 2025, 07:00 AM WIB, the discount is applicable for continuous journeys from Kisaran GT towards Tanjungpura/Pangkalan, with the following rates:
- Vehicle Category I: Originally Rp 236,000, now Rp 209,800, a tariff reduction of Rp 26,200.
- Vehicle Categories II and III: Originally Rp 355,000, now Rp 315,500, a tariff reduction of Rp 39,500.
- Vehicle Categories IV and V: Originally Rp 475,000, now Rp 422,000, a tariff reduction of Rp 53,000.
To take advantage of this 20 percent toll tariff discount during the Eid al-Fitr 1446H/2025 homecoming and return flow periods, toll road users must use the same electronic money card for both tap-in and tap-out processes. This is a crucial requirement to ensure the discount is applied correctly.
